October 2006October 9th, 2006 - Had my liver enzymes checked at around the 3 month mark and amazingly enough they were normal - so my liver is tolerating the Avonex! I've switched to having my husband do the injections as I began to develop a panic / fear response just preparing to inject myself with the Avonex - I would get sweaty and cold and feel sick to my stomach. I don't have that problem at all with doing my Copaxone injections - I think it's all psychological. Something to do with the length of the Avonex needle. I am scheduled to see my neurologist tomorrow for a follow up. I've been on Avonex (in addition to Copaxone) for 5 months now. I've been feeling a bit punk the last 3 days - fatigued, with a bit of balance issues and occasional fuzzy vision. I'm hoping they are just transient issues and not a relapse.
